Job Title: Senior Business Data Analyst -W2 only

Working Hours : 11.30am to 8pm EST
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Rocky Hill, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare domain and be well-versed in industry standards such as HL7 and HIPAA. This role requires hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and a proven ability to interact with business users to gather and document requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements for system enhancements and new projects.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize SQL for data analysis to support decision-making and provide insights into system performance and user needs.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HL7 standards and HIPAA requirements, in all systems and processes.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Participate in testing and validation of system changes, ensuring they meet the business requirements and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support and training to business users as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably minimum 3+ in the healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of HL7 messaging standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis; experience with databases and data manipulation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
